Experience the Magic of Living Music!  Experience the Magic of Living Music!
This is the 77th Season of the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and it is filled with exciting and vibrant music including Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1, Brahms' Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, a concert version of Verdi's opera La Traviata with chorus and soloists, music by Hindemith, Schubert, Mozart, Elgar, Bernstein, and more!

Each concert features 60 to 80 highly skilled, professional musicians employed by the Symphony to perform some of the world's finest music. Most of our musicians live in Bakersfield, where many of them teach music.  A portion of the orchestra travels from the Los Angeles area to perform with the Bakersfield Symphony as well as with other symphonies throughout the state.

We hope you will join us for our 2008-2009 77th Season !
